Robyn, those rims look great, and if you're getting a great deal, then they are that much better. Kirby has point tho, a suspension mod would be the perfect accompaniment....

Well, I have a plan....buy these wheels, sell my 5 spoke Carrera wheels and get the suspension. All of this instead of a big screen. YEAH!! I will just have to watch the F1 race on that small tv...such as life!

BTW, the house isn't mine. It is pretty though.

Okay, what exactly is X74 and what did it come from?

I am considering the P SS9 with the GT3 swaybars. I have riden in Val's car with the P SS9 and liked the fact that ride quality was not sacraficed.

I am doing this ONLY for looks. (No denying...I am a posuer...repeat after me. ) I don't plan on tracking my car save for once or twice a year until I can save up enough mula for a dedicated track car. With that said, I would naturally prefer to go as cheaply as I can (more money towards the track car) but not sacrafice ride quality for looks.

x74 is a Porsche suspension. It was recently released by Porsche though it appears to be a RoW option only. Your car will sit at about the same height as the GT3 which is approximately 25 to 25.5" from the ground to the fender (wheel well). This suspension pretty much eliminates all body roll, isn't too much harsher than a RoW M030, and is a factory option and therefore covered by a factory warranty as well as a suspension tested for the vehicle by Porsche. They have alignment specifications and all for it. Furthermore, I have a link somewhere to where a German test driver showed how much it shaved off the lap times of a C2 as compared to both standard RoW suspension and the RoW M030 suspension.

The reason I went with it over the PSS9 was because:

1.) Its a factory part and therefore I know the quality and the warranty backing is there.

2.) It isn't height adjustable but I knew that it would place my car at the perfect height. I don't plan on constantly adjusting the height as you require an alignment each time.

3.) Its a well tested preconfigured perfect suspension for the vehicle. It'll be perfect for the track day drivers events, it makes the car truly tighten up and eliminates 99.9% of the body roll, and the car sits at the GT3 height which to me is perfect.

I'd highly recommend it. Everybody who has gotten one LOVES it, and if you get it from Gert (its on sale).

For pictures of it you can see Greyghost's car or Jenner's car. I'll have pictures of mine up next weekend if I get a chance to wash the car.

I am with Adam as well. The X74 is a perfect match for the C2. If you were to track the car heavily requiring suspension adjustment, the PSS9's and other derivatives would be great, however, the X74 is a factory part, rides very nicely without harshness, and makes the car sit at GT3 height, which is perfect. Check out the photos of my car to see what I'm talking about.
