No more Parking lights and day time driving lights

When I picked up my girlfriend the other day she noticed my day time driving lights were not on (Canadian car).
Upon inspection, she was right (again!!!).

As well, my parking lights would not work. Before, as soon as I would have the key in the ignition, engine stopped, parking lights would be on.

If I turn the lights on, everything works no problem.

I assume there is a problem with a relay or maybe the ignition switch itself, any idea?

Prolly ignition switch...that piece is truly plugged into everything! Check fuses too.

Actually, if it's just the daytime running lights, and you can still switch the headlights on at the switch, I'd check the relay for the daytime running lights. Cheap fix too, only a few bucks for the relay.

Does anyone know how to disengage the daytime running light? My friend has daytime running lights on his 2002 C2 and don't like them...

Question for you guys - When you come home at night. If your were to leave your headlight switch on and turn off the car. What still should be lite up. I thought when I first got my car there was the 2 orange turn signal lights on the sides and 1 light in the headlight. I ws going to replace it but now neither are on and i think they both just burnt out. What bulb is it?

Why doesn't he like them? Does he have a problem with being safer when he's driving?

I have this issue. I bought the car two months ago (2002 996 C2) and when I got the PPI the dealer told me the 996 daytime running lights were just burned out and need replacing.

Anyone got a pic of the ones I am suppose to change? All I get in the search are LED conversions and upgrades.

I believe they're all #67 bulbs. If memory serves me correctly, #93 will fit also and it's a bit brighter than the #67.
