Hey Guys & Gals!

I have been checking out this forum for a while.. but this is the first chance I've been able to get some pics up to fully introduce myself. Nothing special just a bone stock 996 for now. Fabspeed exhaust on the way courtesy of RedlineRobert and other goodies to follow soon. These are some pics from my first wash and wax. I am looking forward to trying out some RejeX on the next go-round. I'm not much of a photographer so you will have to excuse the shadows! =D

How many other Porsches do you have in Calgary?

 

I dunno... i've seen a few out this year so far...2 other silver 996's... i've also seen a silver 993 and a black 911SC. We have 1 dealership here and a local chapter of the PCA its not bad for a small city

Yes I think I will eventually get a spoiler/wing for the car but the first thing that DEFINITELY needs changing is the stereo. Oh man its terrible. I think the only two options the original owner left off were 1. the spoiler and 2. the cd changer. All I have right now is the tape deck which is killing me because I am a serious audiophile. So most likely the mod fund will go in this order:

1) stereo & secondary alarm
2) 19 wheels + suspension (PSS9 most likely because i need adjustable height)
3) spoiler

After that I may do some little performance upgrades but those are the things that will definitely evolve on my car over time.

nice car and great color. After the Fabspeed exhaust whats next. How about alum pedals. Man I just sold a set of Gemballa wheels that would have looked great on your car. Oh well. I'll keep a look our for you.

After the fabspeed will definitely be the system, probably something along the lines of what you have in your Lexus. I love the soun and clarity of JL W3 and W6 series I just need to find a good car deck and some components to match them.

I am not sure if i want to get the aluminum pedals.. the one thing that worries me is during the winter months they might get a little slippery. This car will be my daily driver except on very snowy days in which ill be driving the SUV in the background of those pics. But its definitely something to think about.
