black centers or polished
wanted some opinions. i have a black 996 with HRE 540 with black centers, but i kind of got sick of them. i was thinking of having the centers polished, since the lips are being chromed. or maybe even having them brushed. anyhow, i was hoping for some opinions, since i am like Ron/rodis, who can't make up his mind.

Have you thought about a bronze/gold colored center? Would really bring out the "motorsport" look in my opinion...(going with the black exterior of the car).
ex:
A buddy of mine just got sponsored by BBS for a set of these for his Turbo BMW, they look incredible...(his car is Carbon Black)

What mods do you have done on your black beauty? Is it a C4s or Turbo ? I think the car looks great black on black. You should defintely keep them like that.
I have the black on black them on my previous E39 5 series as well as my previous E38 7 Series

hey eric have you tried gun metal, that a cool color that's not too popular with the 996 crowd .. the black with chrome lip looks nice too..

it's a regular c4 cab. ecu, headers, sways and coilovers all that stuff. no forced induction. our cars look like they could be brothers.

california chrome, is chroming the lips. so far i am leaving it with black centers, just a little bored.

Go with chrome lips and brushed/clear coated centers
