how's it odd? in the grand scheme of things... not even grand... $40K on a car is a sh!tload of money that you should not take for granted and speak as if it's not a "credible" amount of dollars to spend on something let alone a 911 that is purely a toy and luxury.

things could be worse, no? keep things in perspective, dude. i know there's a lot of money being thrown around by users here, but this is like .00000000000000000000001% of the world being represented. very skewed reality.

you are blessed to roll a car, living in America, period.

It's odd because nobody in thier right mind would have interpreted it that way. My interpretation was that the car is worth either way more, or way less than $40k. Not even close to your meaning. Try reading your own posts before to see if they make sense before hitting the submit key.

I dunno- Choi's 1st post made sense to me (but I've never claimed to be in my right mind either..heh)... I sure as heck don't have $40k to take for granted. I'd be raising hell at the dealer to get it fixed... my2c..

I think you're misintepreting intention- The consensus would seem to be we all would like to see you get your pcar fixed and not get taken advantage of, and $40k is not chump change to most folks.

But hey it's your car, if it doesn't really bother you then no biggie

If you are near santa monica, I would recommend Foreign Sport Technicians. Ask for Claudio. 310-394-1985.

That sucks...and I would of said something before taking delivery. They need to return the car back to me in the same shape. That is why you ALWAYS...take a look all over the car before taking the keys...

but for indies..I take my car to TRE in North Hollywood. You can ask for Jeremy at 818-509-0257. Great shop IMO.

Isn't TRE more specialized in 993s and older 911s? What services have they done to your 996? I'm close to them, maybe I can bring my car to them for some service and / or accessories. Thanks.
