more new mats

New floor mats.
I like them, but I am not sure if they will stay in since there are more ideas brewing.

Thank you Kirby.
Apparently I am starting to run out of things to do and am starting to fiddle with various interior details. A console change is also in the works.

Doug, how can you "run out" of things to do? Impossible!!!

Dying to check out your car since the new shifter.

I found them on ebay in gold thread. I called the shop and they arranged to get the silver/gray thread.
From R&S Auto in Los Angels, CA. I spoke with Rick at (323) 934-4567.

They seem to be of decent quality, but I always wish that aftermarket mats had more dense carpet. The embroidery work looks very good.

Cost was $169 (plus shipping and sales tax) for the front pair as shown.

Yes Doug... Screw the mats... When did you get the "sequential Terminator looking shifter" Man oh man that is sweet! I want to hear more... I read about then in Excellence a few months back... But it looked nothing like that... that is pure eye candy!

Did a search on "sequential" and found your original post.
Nice!!! Very, very, nice!!
Do you have a little LED screen to tell you what gear you're in?

Thank you. Yes it is an interesting bit of machinery
It does have the LED display that indicates gear (numeral), reverse (lower case r), neutral (green light) ands neutral between first and revers (red light & green light). It is temporarily mounted just above the center AC vent surround (we are looking for a more permanent home for it).

Eric, yes it is the same unit as the article. Since we have to put the console cover back on yet, it looks pretty cool. It will be much more subtle after the cover goes on.
