donuts is infamous around these parts
Why would anyone want to go wider than 285 rear? I've got 225 front and prefer 265 rear as 285 leads to understeer. 265 had great balance, any bigger than 285 seems ridiculous.

More width=better grip....so maybe you go bigger fronts to counteract the understeer.....

Newport, what tire size combo do you have? are they stock sizes?... I know that your 295 goes up to 26" diam and wondering what size are your fronts to better compensate for the 225's, 25" diam . I dont think the 26" diam is an issue as long as the front are similar in size as the rear. Since I put 285/30/18, my speedo has been off for like 3mph.. Im also looking for 19" to put on.

fronts are 235/35/19...standard 997 sizes front and rear...you know speedo is off from the factory by about 5mph....according to my GPS, my speedo is 1mph off....closer to accurate than with my stock 18's.
