Custom Supercharger FVD Tuning..Project GULF
Are you running a SC too Redridge?
I had thought about the smaller pulley. I'm still not ruling it out. I am running an AFR in the 10's at WOT at max boost. I would prefer to try and clean it up with software rather than change the pulley.

when does the boost kick in? does it come in really. when i had the TPC kit it threw you back into the seat. boost was hard then just pulled steady. every now and then things could get hair if you were in the boost range and didnt want the power like coming out of a turn.
you don't feel the boost in a centrifugal car. it's very linear. the power comes on just like stock, only a lot more. there isn't the on/off thing you get with turbos or the tpc kit. the boost builds gradually with rpm, reaching maximum boost at redline. whereas if i understand it correctly, and the way it felt when i was in the car, the boost maxes almost immediately in a roots blower, but then starts to fade some where near redline.
different way to skin a cat i suppose. the tpc kit had a lot of power, but it kind of made the motor feel more like an american v8 than a flat 6 porsche.

I really missing the extra power. I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on something. I'm not sure if it will be a face lift on the car or power. Now i need to find an installer for the EVO kit in my area. this time im going to research the shop alot better. the last shop took months to install a kit they made. i don't want to go through that again.
I need to get some kind of A/F setup before I continue my tune for piece of mind, I am going with a non-gauge setup, but logged to laptop just like Innovative LC-1 or zentronix. The cheaper innovative does not log RPM just AFR vs the zentronix that does, but is $100 bucks more, is it worth it having the RPM also. Remember the final tune will be on a dyno so they should have RPM etc. Any suggestions or am I just cheap.

Problems
Yes/No, I got the resistors but found some intake problems, cracked intercooler coupling/reducer. New re-enforced throttle body reducers ordered with new T-Clamps still awaiting parts. I did not like the intake and did not trust it so I fabbed up a new one this picture is beginning of it and have not taken pic of finished one but it is installed. I will get new numbers soon and post. The reason for the AFR is that after these new mods I will have no idea where the mix is, I'm sure it will still be rich but just concerned. I would like to get the AFR ordered ASAP.

Did it come with the hookup for the RPM or did you have to buy something else for that to work? Also which wire did they tap for the RPM?
DD, Where did they tap into to measure boost? from the intercooler? or did they use vacuum... this Zietronix looks like a nice winter project. Mother, Ill open up the air intake kit tonight along with some other stuff... Ill take pics if the MAF to see if is baffled to reduce flow signal.

Mother, your a/f ratio is nothing more than an electronic reading. You can get an accurate reading in volts from your after cat O2 sensors. No need for fancy equipment. On the dyno, all they are using is a wideband sensor.
