A check engine light and you got the psm off?
Are you throwing any codes/return to shop warnings on the on board computer.

i have an engine light and when i checked it was an exhaust sensor so i dont know but i feel the car is a bit slow in 4th

They all go into a limp mode with a CEL. Which system, 100 or 200 cel cats?

If the check engine light is from the exhaust sensor; the new cats might not have had the oxygen sensors installed properly. Is the new tuning set for 200cell cats? Some people have had issues on cats lower than 300cell.

If you get a chance to hook it up to a computer post the error codes here.
