Daily Driver to compliment Turbo?
Super comfy, loads of electronics, amazing cars - why not an S600 - or even an S63?
BTW, I'd get any Audi/BMW/Merc over a Lexus any day, that's me and I just don't see anything special about a re-badged Toyota (I've driven them all and I just don't like them one bit). IMO, of course, since this is an opinion thread after all.

OK...time to resurrect this thread...I can't take another second of the Lexus...it's sucking all the lust for driving out of me...it's a fine car but so boring I want to burn the car and delouse myself after every single drive! I can't stand it!!!!!!!!
So here we go again...
I'm considering a used Bentley Continental GT...seems to tick all the boxes...it's fast, stylish and AWD.
Any other thoughts gents??

The Continental is a great car, I don't think you'll get bored of it one bit. My neighbor recently picked up a CL550 4-Matic, drove it, feels rock solid and is drenched in luxury.
Good luck, I'm sure you won't make a bad decision!
You may be on to something with the CL550...it's AWD...has tons of cool stuff and I can get a new one for the price of a used Bentley...hmmmmm
I do really like my GL450...

trust me....if you want comfort and all the amenities and amazing electronics, 2010 E class all the way. we just bought one and the navigation is amazing and ipod, sat. radio and so many other options on this car make you love driving, i have a 45 min commute but by the time i get to work i want to go back on the streets and do it again.....fantastic car, look into it.
I had an S550 when they first came out and have driven a S600 and S63. All I can say is that IMHO they are big sleds. Not saying they are not great cars but, my tastes have changed. I know I recommended the Maserati Quattroporte but, after reading the Panamera review in the new Porsche Excellence mag. I would say go for the turbo Panamera. When could you actually get one?
Also, on another note I am 42(no spring chicken) and all my buddies busted my ***** all the time about the merc. saying "thats an old mans car". It used to bother me, now I kind of agree.
Did you go to Ray Catena? I dealt with them when I lived in Jersey.
Now with all the trash talk out of the way I should tell you that my present DD is a Yukon Denali and I love it, I always have liked Yukons and have always kept one around.

I have a current M5 that i use year round...funny I was looking at getting rid of it for an 08 Turbo which I would use year round also
I met a guy who said his 996 Turbo was the best year round car he had...used it for 3 years in Boston, 55k miles, no winter issues with snows on...I figure the 997 should be as good
