I would just call them and ask for Ric, he's always been very helpful.
I don't remember sirrus being an option in 07, maybe dealers were adding them at delivery?

I haven't received any PM's from you, I sent one yesterday but haven't received a reply. Call us at 877-923-1700, not sure if there is a problem with the forum.

I'm not sure if it was an option, but it was available in the Tequipment book for a short time. When the XM/SIRIUS merger took place, it was discontinued.

TT Surgeon,

FYI, Got my parts from Ric at Suncoast but ran into a snag... (See details here: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/997-turbo-gt2/67176-sat-install-pics-2.html ). Going to take to dealer tomorrow to see if "officially" programing PCM with PWIS will resolve issue.

Just odd that without "officially" PWIS programing it recognized SAT receiver and I hear broadcast (from terrestrial ant) but it doesn't "see" Sat Ant.!

We'll see what dealer finds..
BTW, don't buy all cables in kit, waste of money you only need a select few, to get the job done.

How much does it cost to get the XM unit installed by the Porsche dealership?

The quote my dealer gave me was over $2000.00....

At the time I purchased my setup PCA members were receiving 20% off Porsche parts ( & Tech Equipment) so with this savings and going the DIY route was a huge cost savings!

Work with Ric at Suncoast, 6Speedonline members receive a discount on parts.

It truly is a simple install, all the labor was in determining where to install equipment and removing/install panels.

As a side note, doing this sort of work on cars is something I am very comfortable with (I have an engineering background) as I have done numerous aftermarket accessory installs in my vehicles.

Hi there,

I also want to put sat radio in my '07 911. I have the nav package (not sure if that's helpful). Any suggestions for a great installer in DC?

Thanks!

I just had the Nav-Tv module installed yesterday in my driveway. Took 20 minutes, logged in to Sirius.com and activated the unit and I am good to go. Full function through the PCM.

Have they updated the Sirius for 997.2 cars? THey hadn't when I checked a few months ago but said it was on their radar.

Thanks.
