For my new friends at 6 Speed, here are some highlights from the LA Auto Show. I was at the Preview Night this evening (Nov. 15). It was a nice time. I was most impressed with the $1.6 million Lambo Murci LP640 Reventon. Spyker also had some very nice cars - especially the Zagato! The new Maseratti Gran Turismo was also very nice. Enjoy.

Hey, is that Alroumi from SLKWorld.com??? It's me B55! How are you man? Good to see you over here. Yes, I got a 997TT. But I still have the SLK. I just couldn't give it up.

I have always liked your SLK Mohammed. For those who don't know, mine is pictured below. Man, looking at these pics I am wondering why I ever moved on to the 997TT. My SLK is Brabus from front to rear including B55 engine enhancements and one-of-a-kind custom interior. I just went buck wild with the mods. With the B55 kit and ECU flash it generates 420 bhp and get 0-60 in about 4.1 seconds. But it is nowhere near as refined as the 997TT. Just very different cars. I love them both. But my SLK is my first true love.

The pics below were taken at the famous but now defunct Crystal Cove meet in Newport Beach, CA and at the currently thriving Cars & Coffee meet in Irvine, CA. Anyone interested in seeing a lot of exotic cars and things you have NEVER seen before, head on over to the Ford/Mazda design center near the Irvine Spectrum any given Saturday morning around 7:30 am.

Yeah thats me, My SLK has a few upgrades now and its definaley a monster after the upgrades. So its been a long time since you posted on the MB forums I guess your work there is done after your upgrades.

Well, I am just relieved ;its nice to talk to you after one year's absence. I've upgraded to a new car aswell its an 07 Black on Black Jaguar XKR [First in Kuwait to have one] and I was thinking of a 911 Turbo but after driving a F430 spyder I think I will get one of those in the near future as the sound and the whole driving experience is different than the Porsche experience. In regards to the SLK it's a keeper, as I love my Designo Mocha Black "Baby monster" or as many nickname it "Mini SLR".

On a personal note, The F430 Scuedria is very sexy and takes the vote when it comes to Eye Candy appeal!

The GT2 while not so striking ( not that its muted by anymeans) is the my Favorite hands down.

Love the Scuderia, GT2, and 599.

The Reventon is awful imo...looks likes something from a bad sci-fi movie. I love Lambo's but this just doesn't do it for me.
