I just spoke to Bilstein directly to clear this issue up. Bilstein only offers one coilover system with pasm. They offer 3 coilover systems all together for the 997 Turbo, PSS9 w/out pasm, pss9 w.pasm, and the pss10 w/out pasm.

THese are the PSS9 with pasm they are height adjustable and obviously are electronically controlled dampers. If you have a set of coilovers from bilstein that are PASM compatible, then yes they are the same system as what we have here. The difference between the PSS9 without pasm and the PSS10 without pasm is how they are dampening adjustable. The adjustment is done manually on both systems, however the 9's are done at the top and the 10's are done at the bottom.

I don't think this is correct.

The 9 in PSS9 refers to the 9 settings available on the manual shock valving adjustment.

The 10 in PSS10 refers to the 10 settings available on the manual shock valving adjustment.

The coilovers used on PASM cars do not have manual shock valving adjustment. They have two valving settings adjusted by the switch on the dash. These coilovers are called "Damptronic" and are what everyone is using on the 997TT.

Just getting everyone on the same page with terminology.

There are three systems two of which can be adjusted manually which are called the 9s and 10's without pasm. then there are the 9's with pasm which are adjusted automatically and retail the sport function inside the car.

Matt-

There is only one suspension for the 997TT. It's called the Damptronics. It integrates with the OEM PASM.

There are no PSS9's or PSS10's for the 997TT. The PSS9's and 10's are for Non-PASM cars only and have external adjustments.

Sorry for stepping on your thread. I just want to clear the air on some of the terminology.

The documentation for my Damptronics includes an install guide for both the PASM compatible version and the PSS10's. I am assuming these Damptronics are the electric switchable version of the PSS10 b/c the parts diagrams and numbers are virtually identical. Nowhere is PSS9 mentioned in the documents
