Can you comment on how the handling/ride felt to you. If I remember correctly, this car has what? The Moton suspension setup? Sways? Droplinks? I'm curious to hear how it rides. Obviously it handles well if you were able to get 38:01 in the autoX.

Like others have echoed on here, I'd love to see pictures of the interior especially the rear seating area with the rollbar, no seats, etc.

Hey Jason,
The handling/ride felt great. The car is currently equipped with factory suspension and H&R Lowering springs. When they first got the car, they immediately put a set of Motons on it but they did not work with the PSM and while it handled great, it was not the feel that they were looking for on this car. (All of their other cars have Motons BTW)
They are going to be testing a Sachs set up that will be PSM friendly. I will report in this thread what that is like in the future.
Thanks for the comments guys!!

Martin,
You change your mind about what you want more than you change underwear.
Your GT2 is a very special car that you will miss immediately after you replace it. Mark my words.

I thought i'd be happy with a more powerful NA engine than my turbo charged GTi. But everytime I get in the GTi i can say that it is a hoot to drive! there's a different feel to it that makes it feel faster even though it isn't faster than my R32

Nice exhaust system. HOw about a good sound clip and drive by?

Question I have for Evoms or anyone that has done the package and has experience with the issue, what does the kit do to the factory warranty? Anyone in N. Cal(Alex??) know a dealer that will honor warranty work with a kit on the 7TT?
I think we spoke yesterday and if that's case drop by in the new year as we'll be doing a couple more I believe N2it is tearing around the Bay Area in his EVT700 so you can always PM him too.

In terms of the factory warranty, any time you change that stuff your warranty is "officially" voided but unofficially it depends on who you know and what you know. All of these ingredients are "bolt-on" so it's not like you can't pull them off easily and go back to stock should you have some kind of issue that requires it.

*cough* PASM

BTW it really felt good with just springs? Every car with springs ive driven is SLOPPY, but it seems with the new electronic dampening sytems/setups manufacturers are starting to use (BMW/Porsche) and the active dampers it feels great?

Josh, great observation buddy, you arent being an *** one bit. Here is the thing, i am like that with EVERYTHING, it's not a good or bad thing in most cases, it's just ME, and LIFE in general if you think about it.

Everything becomes bland, boring, same old no matter what it is, its evolution. The thrill of getting something new, trying something different out, not necessarily better or more expensive, it's just an excitement, and why I can probably never get married hah jk

I love my car to death, I mean it was my true dreamcar (LOL I said same thing about M3 Turbo, etc.) I just want to experience everything and like to switch it up constantly, i'm sure everyone can relate, except I am a bit more indecisive then others. I mean im greatful as all hell and don't complain about them, you get the point, it's nice to keep it new!

Felix/Lu, grass ISNT always greener on the other side, but hey, how will I know unlress I don't try them all I prob. will regret it, but something about the GT3/Challenge Stradale that keeps luring me in!

I couldn't agree more with what you said - i love change...I like the 997 'S' but give me a 18 months and i'll move on...that seems to be the longest period of time i have owned any single car.

A Stradale would be a very nice upgrade for you. I am happy enough for now that i am not obsessing on ebay about what car i want next (only watches), what a relief!

Josh.

Martin, please end our frustration and stop with the "I want that car soo bad". Not that you can never move on to bigger and better, but hearing an adult say "I want that car soo bad" about every hot car that is posted here gets tired and could be considered juvenile.

Do you remember what a big deal the acquisition of your Ruf GT2 was? Check the thread again to re-familiarize yourself with the beast you have on your hands. You are a lucky guy.

He isn't done yet!
We also turned the keys over to another driver with rather extensive driving credentials yesterday.
Stay tuned
