This will help eliminate lateral flex in the front suspension. It does so by tying in the front upper shock mounts. There is no cutting, welding, or modification needed in anyway for the install!

For you weight conscious guys/gals out there, it is made of genuine carbon fiber and aluminum. It is both stiff and light. The entire bar only weighs in at 1 pound!

In stock and ready to ship.

thuggy-

Great question. Thanks for asking.

I should have mentioned that in the original post. Yes, it does fit under the covers.

Looks great but completely unnecessary on a 996 or 997, the factory units work just fine in the cup cars.

Haven't done any spirited driving yet with it. As stated by the others, the 997 platform is pretty solid to begin with, and might not benefit as much as other less torsionally rigid cars. I would consider it more needed in a cab

Sorry Mike,

Nicely made part but I gotta agree with the guys on this one..

We tried these a few years ago and they didnt do much in terms of handling improvements.

Our part looked almost identical to yours.

these make a great place to mount your moton cannisters for quick and easy access. makes a nice coat hanger as well. the construction and finish is done well. amazing how feather light it is.
