Grey turn indicators?

Seems like many guys have replaced the US spec amber indicators with clear. Was wondering if anyone has seen any that are more "grey" than clear. I want to avoid any chance of a ricey look but it would seem that grey indicators might look better with Meteor than clear. Thoughts? TIA

Anthony

some vendors sell 'smoked' ones which I assume is spray tint versions of the clear Euro ones.

Check out E55AMG's pics. He's got the smoked corners on his slate car. Looks very inconspicuous.

See the thread about "Serious horsepower"

before you trouble yourself too much, try the OEM Euro clears... they do seem to have a slight tint to them, not "ricey" at all... pics of my OEM Euro's here (unedited pics)

not the best shot, but in bright daylight w/ the lights turned on (see the amber bulb glow close to the wheel well)...

at the track w/ lights turned on...

I have the clear with the clear bulb, no rice look imo, very euro looking. buy the clears which come with amber bulbs, if you want more clean light swap the clear bulbs from your oem markers.

Well, kind of. You'll need a slender screw driver, and a bit of persistence/patience. Follow the instructions in the owner's manual. Takes about 10 min.

You can also do it via credit card, markers slide aft just a touch, then pull out to remove.
a type of spring clip hold them in place.
