New TT yesterday!!
Thanks for posting the delivery day pics Jason! I'm just leaving Redding (5:00am) and should be home for dinner. The car looks so ratty, but in a good way: flow lines of washer fluid mixed with road dirt; crusted snow that has now melted but left a telltale ,etc ---it looks very purposeful and "used". Odd for me - my cars are always spotelss, so this is a good lesson in tolerance. I had to keep myself from finding a quarter carwash last night and getting the the big chunks off
I bought the TT in Washington because I was born and raised there, have friends and family there, got a good deal, etc. This was an ordered car, so the selection is exactly what I wanted. I was hoping the car might have been ready last summer when the weather was better, but at least it's here now.
Average speed of 58 mph included gas stops and a quick bite. The RE-050A Bridgestones became a a bit slimey in the snow and 33*F wx through the Siskyou Mountains in Southern OR and Northern CA; but slowing down and driving really smooth got me through it. I wouldn't care to uphill through the snow - downhill was "interesting" enough.

Natural grey leather with deviated black carpeting. Great combination! Wish I had gotten it for mine too.

What really got to me is the new for 2008, rear seat lighting option that cost $415!!!

True proof that Porsche is gouging us!

Dick,
It was so nice to meet you and see your new beauty. The black carpet is something I can only wish for. I'm sure you're going to enjoy the car and I hope some of us from the rust belt can meet up with you in the spring when we head down your way to play on the California twisties.
Thanks for the dinner. Hope I'll have a chance to reciprocate.

Look forward to the additional photos.
