Nah, I find your jealousy far more amusing. I'm going to sit here and observe as you run out of poor excuses.

List of motoring journalists who are 'biased' against Porsche thus far:

Best Motoring
Sport Auto
CAR Magazine
Autocar and
Evo (unofficially - soon to go to press)

The weather at the Nurburgring was also biased against Porsche, even though it was partially wet during the GTR laps.

You remind me of the Black Knight in Monty Python's Holy Grail:

You'd think that at double the price, Porsche could come up with better. £100k?? So that's £40k for the badge, £40k for the car and £20k to grease your backside before the saleman closes the deal.
You are operating under the false presumption that the faster car is necessarily the better car.

You are operating under the assumption that a badge can alter the physical properties of the known universe.

Where did I say anything of the sort? Since you clearly have nothing positive to say about Porsches, why do you even post on this site?

I've had lots of postive things to say about Porsches but it's very difficult to say them on this site. You are under the false assumption that the fastest car isn't the best car.

No but a badge can alter the level of service one will get in going from one dealer to another, and the level of quality of materials used in the vehicle, all of which factor into which is in one's mind a better car. For some people the performance is all that matters, and others, the luxury, so there is no constant, or definite answer.

You are just operating under stupidity.

I guess that stripped down Honda that does 9 sec. quarter mile times is one of the best cars in the world then . I wouldn't care if the GTR were 1/4 the price and twice as fast. I refuse to buy a car that doesn't have a proper manual gearbox and doesn't excite me when I look at it. I would take a Z06 over a GTR, and that's no lie.

Psst, this is primarily a Porsche site. People tend to think highly of the marque.

Whats a better car on the race track? The faster one.

Whats a better car on the road? The one that brings the bigger smile to your face.

Are you a race car driver? Or like me do you drive on public roads?

Quality of materials? Let's venture into this highly subjective realm. Porsche interiors really don't look that good.

Level of service? Given the price of the service, I should hope Porsche service is good. Damn, you should get a free BJ each time.

Psst. We have to put up with a certain toilet brush (hc) from your site on our site, so I'm just returning the favour. But I still find it amusing that you can't see past a badge. Stick a Porsche badge on a GTR and you would all cream yourselves.

I love the Z06 but if you like manual gearboxes, I can't see why you would buy a corvette. It has about the most obstructive manual gearbox ever built.

Again, we're talking about factory cars. Why compare aftermarket cars with factory ones? You're comparing apples and oranges, I'm comparing GTRs and lemons.

Infinity has the best Nissan has to offer in interiors, and it's not even on the same planet as a Porsche. I have a QX. Yes subjective in looks, but not subjective in that you can tell that a Porsche interior has better leather and Nissan doesnt have alcantera. Fronkly, I could care les, but you get what you pay for.

Very intellectual to talk about price since the GT-R has to be serviced every 1,000 miles. I will bet once you add up the costs of markup + service, the GT-R is easily the same price as a TT. So much for low cost huh.

But the car is Japanese, so maybe you get a "happy ending"

I've never actually driven a C6 Z06, so you may be right. However, I've owned a C5 Z06 and I loved everything about it.

I realize it is comparing apples to oranges, but it's simply to make a point. As mentioned by the poster above, if you live your life on the race track, then yes, the faster car is the better car. Otherwise, it may have little meaning. If it were all about speed, we would all be driving Z06's (or Vipers...yuck).
