maybe I should do the whole car all over. Anyone know any clearbra (ventureshield?) specialist in nj?

Another option would be to get the full car wrap. This way the whole car has film and you don't have to worry about yellowing. The new film from Venturshield and 3M are pretty good; I do notice a little yellowing after a while, but not like the old day. Then again, you gotta remember, my eyes see things most will never see. Also, don't get any after-market coating, protectant, etc. the dealer tries to sell you. Just polish and wax your car 2-3 times per year, depending on what product, and you'll be fine. My 2 cents.
My car looks this wet after EVERY car wash....after the matrix coating has been applied.

I admit that I was skeptical at first but I was definitely convinced afterwards and 6 months and now a year later! Still going strong!

I had a 996 Red C-4S with film, and a 996 X-50 Turbo without film, both run at the local track whenever I could get there. The film really saved the paint from chipping. When I take delivery of my new White GT-2 in June, it will definitely get film applied. And if and when it yellows, I'll replace it. Much better than having the paint pocked....
Thanks everyone - I have decided I am going to get the Matrix and Ventureshield on my car. Talked to Metropolitan Detail and he explained that if the ventureshield is properly cared for - waxed regularly, etc., that the new VS should not yellow. With all those that have said they are so pleased with it, and since I plan to keep this car for a very long time (I always say that though), I think it will be worth it. Now to decide what parts to put it on!
Here's a testimonial for you. The majority of us don't drive our cars in really bad road conditions, but I recently drove my Audi A3 coated with Venture Shield on the front and around the wheel arches through the most God awful test track you could imagine. 2500 miles round trip from Seattle, WA to Aspen, CO.
Oregon DOT likes to use 5/8ths gravel to "sand" their portion of I-84. Idaho uses something similar, plus they have a particular stretch of I-84 subject to blowing "dust" storms (more like a sand blasting chamber). Utah likes to spray Salt Lake all over except on Soldier Summit (SR-6) where they use something like very sharp crushed brick. Colorado uses mag chloride to liberally coat their roads.
In all cases there is enough rock, sand and other junk on the road shoulders so that when you follow or pass trucks (and there are lot of trucks on the Interstates) your car is showered with a hail of stones and debris. And it seems the truckers are only to willing to drop a wheel onto the shoulder in order to insure you get full fusillade of crap thrown up at your car.
When I returned home I was scared to wash the car, because of the expected damage to the paint. Well, fear not! Not a single ding, chip, scratch or mark anywhere! The windshield is a whole other matter. Looks like I took several rounds of 00 buckshot head on.
I am definitely sold on the benefits of Venture Shield!
