Yes, you can get it without the logo. When you order it, just say you don't want the logo.

How does half of the cluster become unreadable? I've used it for the past year and I've never thought of this as being an issue. It's exactly the same as the OEM version except that the spokes are thicker but not to the point where you wouldn't be able to see the instruments.

When taking a look at this picture:

Considering the fact that I'm 6"2 (190cm) I THINK my view will be pretty blocked because of the thicker steering wheel, no?

It does seem that this wheel is in a lowered position ... hmmm ... please advice.

Rami - I am 6'2" also and sit very high in the car (short legs & long body). I just went into the garage and sat in the car. No problem seeing the instruments as long as the steering column is not in a very low position.

Hi there! Would it be too much to ask to take a picture from the instrument cluster? I mean a picture taken from the eye point of view ... hard to explain but I think you get the point

Thx Duffy, I appreciate it a lot!

Just to make sure this is the steering wheel you have, right?
http://www.techart.de/homee_gesamt.htm
3-SPOKE SPORT STEERING WHEEL TYPE 2
Art.-Nr.: 097.430.371.CCC/CF/097tt

I have the Multifunction steering wheel so in that case I would need to chose this one:
3-SPOKE SPORTS STEERING WHEEL TYPE 1
Art.-Nr.: 097.430.370.CCC/097tt

Make sure you specify this...silver/grey stitching, no techart logo, CF with smooth shiny clearcoat. If you go with the default stitching then you'll end up with an almost black one which definitely does not match your oem stitching.

If I do order one I will send them a picture of my OEM steering wheel. It will need to have the exact same setup (color and stitching and silver Y-strip). I would also prefer it in full leather non-perforated or alcantara (dark natural grey).

3-SPOKE SPORTS STEERING WHEEL TYPE 1
Art.-Nr.: 097.430.370.CCC/097tt

It is very confusing as to Type 1 vs. Type 2:

On this site: http://www.techart.de/homee_gesamt.htm Type 2 is round:
Open site
Click on Program for 997 (not 997 Turbo)
Click on Interior/Leatherworks (on left)
See that the Triangular is Type 1 & Round is Type 2

On this site: http://www.cecwheels.com/tuners/prod...ner_brand_id=7 Type 1 is round
Open site
Open .pdf file
If you go down to the steering wheels you will see pictures that the Round is Type 1 & Trianguler is Type 2.

When I ordered from CEC, they said they don't even go by 1 or 2. They go by round or triangular. As Jason says, just be very specific as to what you want. Round/triangular, perforated or non-perforated, etc.
