997 TT = All Wheel Drive, Traction Management

997 GT2 = Rear Wheel Drive, No Traction Management, Launch Control, +50 HP, +45 Torque

What kind of conclusion would you draw from that?

Totally different cars. Especially on the track.

Actually, GT2 fits a Slide control and traction control, and handles quite fine for what I tried in Montmelo some weeks ago, but didn't ride her for the time I needed, so any other conclusion? Is more rideable than 996GT2 "widowmaker"? Are the reactions more predictable than 997TT with no-PSM?

Gt2 introduces both SC and TC that prevents unpredicted losts of traction and control, although can be switched off... At least, that is what I've been told

997 Gt2

I have driven both.
The GT2 is much more sportive than the TT. Comparable to the GT3, but with more power. TC/SC works excellent in the GT2.
My GT 2 has now about 800 km, so far no race track.

Thanks for your experience. Do you feel it hard to control on civil roads?

No! I think you can't compare 997 GT2 with 996 GT2.
SC/TC works perfect with the Michelin Pilot Sport.
Absolutely no problem on civil roads.

In my book...there's only one "widowmaker"...and that's clearly the 996 GT2. Porsche claims "respect required" for the 997...I say...not as much respect as what is required for the 996 GT2.

Thank you... I am almost decided.
