Intake Upgrades
Subscribehey
on my porsche 997 turbo i put the evoms stage 3 kit with the fuel upgrade but they havnt come out with an intake system for it yet. Does anyone know of tuners that can supply alot of power just with an intake upgrade. Or does anyone have an intake system on there car that they know of the power they got from it alone.

Just an intake system wont yield serious power. I would however recommend the GMG CF airbox. You may see a power difference(~10-15hp) with the EvoMS S3 kit, simply because you are running a higer boost and you already freed up the exhaust side.
Part of the intake upgrades that you can do for your car is to install the IPD plenum. This small piece improves the airflow efficiency in your Turbo. I plan to do a write-up on mine once I've had a chance to put her through its paces. Stay tuned.
Atomic, I am looking forward to your review of the plenum. I am really happy with mine, in conjunction with an AWE Exhaust.

I need to drive at least 200 miles before I can give a full report. I'm at about 50 miles right now. Damn those weekday traffic. Hang in there guys...I'll get that report to you.
