For some stupid reason, I have a hard time putting 996 GT3 seats in a car that is a 997. I don't know why...but that's pretty extreme for the cost of a new seat...even by Porsche standards.

10k has been the going rate for these seats for the last year.

We have sold several sets at that rate.. The dollar is in the toilet and Porsche has these set very high......

Many people are installing the 996GT3 euro seats instead of the 997GT3 seat.

They are the CGT seats.

I put 996 GT3 seats in my 997. In pictures I didnt like it until I saw a friend put it in his 997 911S looked really good. I followed suit and now I really like them not as sharp as the latest ones but they look neat anyways.

Not to mention the weight savings-huge not sure how exactly how much but Im guessing around 100 pounds maybe more. As well as the sporty feel to them I didnt know I can now catapult outta corners like it is nothing.

Anyways anyone considering it I wouldnt hesitate if you want a really sporty feel to your turbo.

I've always heard of an option called "autosuck"... but have never actually seen it on a seat. Would these seats have that particular option? Just wondering...

Where? These seats aren't from the 996 GT3. These are from the CGT/997.

Yeah, we had a customer here that ended up spending about $12k for the Euro seats in his RS, after it was all said and done.

I guess if you've got it...

IMO, the 996 Euro seats are a great alternative. Also, it should definitely be noted that these 997 Euro GT3 seats are definitely best for a smaller framed person.

What I meant was...I've had the opportunity to put 996 GT3's in...but I have a hard time putting in 996s when the 997s are available. But the 997s are so freak'n expensive...hence the frustration.
