MSRP Discount on new TT

So...with the economy in the state it is in...and dealer inventories looking a bit bloated....

What discount (off MSRP) do you think someone could get on a new TT?

Also begs the question - when does the next model year arrive on the TT?

And will we see PDK? (I dont think so or we would have heard about it).

This topic has been covered more than once in the last couple of weeks. You may want to search the threads. But to put in my $0.02, I got 3k knocked off a 135k car ordering it in late Dec. Sounds like several guys on here have done better. Good luck.

Made my deal with an Atlanta dealer last October for an April build and late May delivery at MSRP. They will close container ship it to my home (SLC) at their expense. Neither of the two dealers in this state had any allocation for a turbo in the next 12 months.

if you are buying an inventory car, coupe should be able to get $3k-$5k, Cab may be less room but I am sure if you are ready to drive the car home that day, they will at least give you couple grand off or throw in some freebie, but if you are ordering your car, I doubt it dealers are willing to offer any discount.

I called some dealerships around MD/VA/NJ/PA and they were not willing to go below MSRP

My local dealer has none and there arent any availabe.

They cut back production on coupes and due to the limited production this year I doubt there are any discounts.

My dealer has 4 guys interested in TT coupes and none for them unfortunately.

Porsche is way ahead of us and its great. By limiting coupe production it keeps the cars' value up a bit I bet.

When they flood the market and over produce resales suffer.

I was at a chevy dealer this weekend for ha ha's looking at Z06 which were always at sticker and the sales person asked me if i d give him $500 over invoice? And I said ,, Look what I am driving over there, No thanks!!

Imagine a TT at $500 over sticker??? Never happen.

So, kudos to Porsche for keeping the resale market alive.

Seems like most dealers around here don't really give a big discount here.
I was talking to my sales person at the dealer and they said that they really don't need to discount their cars because if they don't sell them locally they almost always can sell them out of state.
