I installed the plenum on Friday last week and wanted to fully evaluate it before posting. Here is my personal review:
1) Upon driving home in traffic I did not feel an immediate change .
2) I then took the car out for some sprints and started noticing that the midrange very much increased . The car is astoundingly fast in combination with my other mods . As advised the ECU had to "adapt" to the changes.
3) I usually drive with a passenger or with the radio on as the car has been more like a weekend toy than a performance beast. Yesteday I drove
it with the radio off and thought I heard a mild sound . A full test
drive with technicians led to the conclusion that the large Werks1 intake along with the plenum does give this mild suction noise of air rushing into the intake .


Conclusion =- I really like the part . I do recommend it but I also caution that one's expectations of seeing a HUGE instant change may not be the goal to set. Instead I view the part as a compliment to my full setup .
