The Civics sure are fast but what can you do with them? Can I drive that to the office, to the market, to dinner? That Civic can get trailered to a drag strip 1-2 times per month assuming it doesn't blow up and be used for all of 5 minutes of running time.

That's great if you are into that kind of thing but I prefer to stop at work on my way to the road race course, drive 2-3 hours nonstop on the track, head to the gym and then take the wife out to dinner in the same car.

 

I'm sure it's possible, but who wants to turn a $150k Porsche into a non driveable, no interior, parachute toting, race gas smelling, clutch chattering, rarely starting, non ac having, un-driveable animal. No thanks, I'll stick with 10's and ac with my wife next to me and baby in the back seat on our way to Ruth Chris.

very valid point man - i guess i never looked at it that way. although i do have a few buddies who drive 10sec street honda's with full interiors. i'm def not trying to start one of those silly 6speed wars on car manufacturer vs car manufacturer just making convo. i'm a true car enthusiast and love anything sexy or built for speed
