Recommended Tyres?

Hi all, I have searched around a bit but couldn't really find any specific Threads on Tyres/Tires?

I have a standard 997 Turbo, today I had the rear wheels off - just checking wear etc. and noticed that the inside of the rears have worn to the point of replacement (around 15,000 miles on them). Obviously I could have an alignment issue - which I'll have checked, as even the front tyres appear a little worn on the outside edge.

They are Michelin's (pretty sure the original from new).

Are there any better tyres out there? I found they were pretty good - but I haven't taken on track. So I guess I'm after an everyday tyre.

Any advice would be much appreciated - thanks.

Michelin's are highly rated so for street use, stay with them. Get an alignment ASAP as well.

Thanks everyone - much appreciated.

Will get alignment done also.

.ps What do tyres cost you guys in the US? Two rears for me are around £750 (but that isn't Porsche fitting them).
