Getting WHeels, NEED COILOVERS - but

They need to ride good, yet sit low. BY low i mean tad lower than H& R springs and maybe a hair lower than GT2 spec or just about GT2 spec. However PASM has to work. I cant get a straight answer from those I spoke to.

WHAT COILOVER WILL WORK to accomplish this on a 997TT?

I am putting 20" Wheels on it too.

I believe Bilstein is currently the only manufacturer of PASM compatible coilovers for the 997 TT...they OEM for RUF, TechArt, SpeedArt, etc. While not the ideal choice for pure tracking...they are an excellent choice of overall daily use with dramatic improvements over stock configuration.

I've got the first set of JRZ's for the tt coming in couple of weeks. They say that the ride is actually better than stock, yet with full trackability. It will not be PASM compatible, because it won't need it according to them. I'll give you guys an update as soon as I install them.

I just found your car. Ok yours is up top, and I want it as low as the bottom photoshopped pic.

pss10's is the way to go. Read some great things on those coilovers and have seen them getting installed before. Look very clean.

So you decided to keep it?

Here are some pics. I think I probably run the lowest that I have seen on this board. I have no bumpstop issues. It rides better than stock PASM on and PASM off. I have the Bilsteins PSS Damptronics.

Here are some pics.

Bilstein Damptronics (aka PSS10's) are the way to go! I have 20's and they work great!

I have the PSS10's and love them. My car was lowered 1 inch, PASM works great, and it rides and handles much better in both sport and normal mode. I don't know how much lower they can be adjusted without incurring bump issues.

I am considering PSS10's and really want to make sure the ride is no worse than stock like most are saying and botter dampened on sport for those few track days a year.
