Detailing question
Detailing question
I am a new TT owner and would like to find out what products have worked best (both inside & out) on your turbo? Is there a good dealer or sponsor online to order from?
Rejex on the exterior. I'm not sure who sells it now - I think BumperPlugs.com does and he's a sponsor.
I don't use anything on my leather - just wipe it down with a damp towel after washing the car. Lexol is a good product though.
Use mircrofibre towels. Glistening Perfection, also a sponsor, was running a special. Check some of the newer threads in this section.
Both sponsors have banners to the right.

I use the Zaino line on my new gtsilver, ZAIO and Z2pro for lighter colors, or Z5 for darker colors looks great and lasts a long time. Sonus line for the leather--- it smells closest to porsche leather. I picked my car up last week unprepped and did the initial detail myself and pleased. The key is proper paint prep 1st. Rejex looks good for the wheels. Zaino is a sealant, if you like carnuaba wax look try P21s 100
txjeff I would recommend checking out the forums on autopia.com to get a nice idea of the latest trends in detailing. I myself use Klasse All In One as a base sealer/wax followed by a coat of P21s carnuba then Duragloss Aquawax spray on top.
P21S is all I put on my own cars Really makes metallics pop.
I've used pretty much everything as this use to be my profession. I am not a HUGE fan of ReJeX or Zaino. They are good products that protect well, but they do nothing for me in the "looks" department. It is too mirrory. It looks great on white cars though
but it just lacks depth.
