IA 690hp street warriorz challenge SA TX
Maybe it is a weight issue but the 690 race program produces somewhere near 590 at the rear wheels. Steve Casper installed the tune and it has an Awe exhaust, evo intercoolers, boost hoses, computer tune, headers, clutch, brakes and bisteins. I believe the car could get to 130 but not 134. I am going to practice some more and I will see if I can get there. Since we are producing close to the same power I do not know why we are not hitting the same speeds. Obviously the driving is a key so I will practice. I am confident the car is producing the power but might take some time to get the car settled into the track.
Maybe you have a boost leak?
I had my car shipped to imagine auto with Steve Casper and I am certain it is producing the power maybe plus or minus the 690 but close. Maybe the 690 race program will not produce 134mph on the San Antonio race track.
This has nothing to with IA or Stephen, as he's an outstanding tuner. But for all you know, you could have a boost leak or some other easily remedied issue that's causing you to lose power in your car. Issues like that are quite common with highly modified cars, regardless of who built/tuned them.
Trust me on this. I've owned a few heavily modified cars over the years. Pretending to be certain that your car is running at 100% of its potential when certainty is not a possibility, is not beneficial to you, your tuner, or your car. I would get it dyno'd ASAP. If it dynos in the 570-600 awhp range, then it's probably your driving that caused you to trap so low. But at least you'll know for sure.

I am going to make some more runs when there is no wind blowing and then I will look for that. I do not think it is a boost leak but it may not be producing the power. The question is what top speed should the car do. I guess you are saying 134mph.
-Bone stock 996TT's have hit 117.
-Bone stock Turbo S's have hit 119.
-Bone stock 997TT's have hit 121 mph.
-My car at IA Stage 2 (intake, exhaust, tune), full weight with AWD hit 126.
-My car with 675 flywheel HP and RWD hit 136 and Woodtster's car with the same power but AWD hit 134.
With a true 690 flywheel HP, you should be hitting *at least* 130 mph.

My be there is some porblems with his ECU..cause of diff weather or climate (was you ecu tuning done at the same place and all aspect tken into account)...I had this problem on other car...had re-programm my ECU to ge best results..thus resulted in 0.2-0.3 drop in 1/4...not sure about trap speed but definately car pulled harder on top...
I believe I could hit 130mph but not 135 on my AWD TT 997. My friends AWD 996 turbo ran 110mph and his convertible AWD 996 turbo s ran 113mph on the same track over a couple of runs. I just need to dyno my car. I could not dyno it because of new clutch. Imagine Auto with Steve put on the clutch, Evo intercoolers, boost hoses, Awe Exhaust, ECM tune with race program, brembo brakes and bilstein shocks. I also have champion wheels. Car runs great and feels good. I need to make more runs. I could not get my car in the 11s on the day I ran 125mph. My friend ran my car on a different day which is part of this post but let up a the end; however, he ran an 11.7 time his best ever.
