Tubi on a 997tt cab?

Who has done this? Too loud? Any resonance or drone?

Tia!

had mine done last week (the non race version)....it sounds great....it is louder than stock, but not "**** off your neighbor" loud. With the top up, I notice it is a little louder inside, but not annoying. for what it is worth, my wife could not tell the difference with the roof up.

top down, same impression, louder but not annoying. What I notice (and like) about the exhaust change, is a deeper tone. I posted on another board, that I actually find myself driving with the windows down just to hear the exhaust. (that is in the rare event I dont have the top down)

Tubi on my DD 2008 Turbo Cab. Love it. No way is it too loud even w/ the top down. If you're looking for really loud look elsewhere. The Tubi has just the right amount of sound during cruizing if you like something aggressive but dont want to really raise your voice to talk w/ a passenger. WOT it's another story then it gets louder. It's also the best sounding exhaust out there for the Turbo (IMO).

Hey Jamie,

if you are looking at the Tubi for the 997turbo..let me know if you are interested. i have a set for sale. used for about 3months. with under 2000km..

exhaust sounds great without much or any drone in the cabin.

Thinking of selling the turbo thats why im letting the exhaust go..

regards,
Justin

My 08 tt 6 speed went in yesterday for tubi and ecu upgrade. Am a little afraid may to be to loud BUT my dealer swears by this exhaust. Will give my impressions asap. In any case after reading all the posts on mods, what I am doing(exhaust and ecu) seems to be the best bang for the buck. I sure hope so. Next project is to install lasar jammer like the M45
