Do you use the EVT700 package as a daily driver ? Does the beefed up torque converter for the tip have a higher stall speed for faster launches ? IMHO, if the tip now has a higher stall speed, although it would be incredibly fast, it simply wouldn't be as desirable as a daily driver. Could you describe the tip performance in more detail.

 

Well, I received the car yesterday, and I have driven it only today maybe 50 miles

The car with the EVT700/750R is my daily driver and actually even with my renewed suspension, it is very "normal" and easy car to drive. This means there is no extra sounds ( besides of beefed exhaust), rattles or nothing like. Car is so sound and all gear changes feels like stock: sound, smoothness etc... only thing what is noticeable is the speed the revs go up!! and the car accelerates!! I was little bit afraid if this Torque Converter changes the soul of the car, but nothing like that! I am happy in 10 point scale I would say 11. It was worth for this three weeks that I was waiting for it!!

I plan to use the car as my daily driver, through the winter, but also take it to the track! Maybe next week I can tell what kind of improvements there are on my local track! and, I would like to do some quarter mile or standing mile, let's see!

So what doest this torgue converter DO ??? does you tranmission has NEW TCU as well ???

Anyone know more info on this mod for TIPS ???
