Look for a Ferrari 1,2 at Monaco *Updated Hamilton prevails on the streets of Monaco

Raikkonen should be a shoe in this year for the win. Just got back last night from the Italian Riveria. Lots of off the hook yachts headed to the races. Wish I could have went.

Go Ferrari!!!

Formula 1 banter! Now we are getting somewhere in here.

What happened last year at Monaco?? McLaren 1 and 2.

Raikkonen failed to make it out of Q2 and finished 8th (which is actually damn good given that he started 16th!)

I would look for more of the same this year. The F2008's long wheel base format doesn't suit Monaco's tight twisting circuit. The McLarens, on the other hand, have proven to be more nimble - albeit not as quick.

It should be a great race. Can't wait until qualifying tonight!

My prediction for those that will finish in the points:

1. Lewis Hamilton
2. Hiekki Kovalainen
3. Felipe Massa
4. Robert Kubica
5. Kimi Raikkonen
6. Nick Heidfeld
7. Nico Rosberg
8. Jarno Trulli

GO LEWIS!!

Better check the weather forecast. We'll give you one revision to your finishing order.

OK. Rain means that I drop Kimi out of the top 8 and put Lewis - the best driver in the wet in F1 (or have you forgotten Fuji last year??) - another 2 or 3 minutes ahead of whoever comes in second.

What else did you have in mind?

Not sure Hamilton has been annointed the rain master at this earler stage of his career. He'll need a few more brave runs in the rain.

All Ferrari front row for the race though. What was that about the F2008 again? Something about wheelbase?

I really hope it doesnt rain...so Ferrari can maintain the 1/2! If it rains its anybodies race...even Alonso. Barrister, I enjoy your F1 posts...I respectfully think you give Hamilton too much credit...time will see.

I'm hoping it rains. Thats what'll really make it interesting. Formula one should really be what it was like a decade and a half ago with a ton of passing, sliding, the whole nine yards.

I have to commend you though on your incredible prediction of a Ferrari 1/2 in qualifying.

Formula 1 has become incredibly technical in the past 10-years. That has resulted in a lot less overtaking. But you can't dumb down the cars just to increase passing. What I love about Formula 1 is the technology involved. It is the best of the best. If that means less overtaking, then so be it.

And then it all fell apart. Good race though. Congrats to LH. He was helped by poor pit calls by Ferrari but for him to come back to win after tagging the wall and limping to the pits for a r/rear tire by itself is pretty amazing. Raikkonen... ?? What can I say. Barrister pegged that one pretty well. That Massa really has shown some skills the last few races. He clearly was fastest today he just got caught on the wrong rotation going from wets to dry's. But that racing.

I feel sorry for Sutil! Must be a heartbreaker for him after being taken out by Kimi.

Lewis deserves this win!

Guys, next time put "Spoiler" or something to this effect because not everyone watches the race at the same time so it would ruin it for them.

Barrister, Hamilton deserves full credit for this one. Force India wants Raikkonnen banned from the next two races.....ridiculous.
