The Day I Met Lewis Hamilton . . .
Congrats, that's a great expierence for any F1 Fan.

In my case my son (very serious Ferrari Fan) wouldn't liked to meet Lewis, specially since we are heading to montreal next friday and we hope to see him defeated by Kimi and Felipinho
.
Go Ferrari!!

Of course, we root for Lewis and have since his first race. But both my son and I would have been very excited to meet Kimi or Massa. In fact, I would have been happy to meet any F1 drivers! We were just very lucky to meet our favorite.
Barrister, you guys, really had a very nice chance to meet a really great young driver, specially if he is your favorite at F1, sure he will have a great career, I wish I had that chance with my son to meet Kimi. Lucky you!!!

Thanks. No problem. It was a great day and I am happy to share it with my friends here.
Take care!

WoW!!! What an amazing opportunity!
I'm sure to most of us on here meeting someone like Lewis Hamilton or Schumi would make us 100X happier and star struck than meeting someone like Brad Pitt or something.
Congrats...seems like a great guy from what you describe

Good for you Barrister.
Your son looks just the right size to fit into an F1 cockpit.
A friend in London has known Hamilton for some years and says he really hasn't changed but that Hamilton is sorry for his loss of anonymity. He probably enjoyed being out in a public place where everyone that saw him didn't have stars in their eyes.

You could tell that he cared a lot about his privacy. When he walked into the tuning center, he was very sheepish - as if he expected a big crowd. When he saw it was only us he relaxed and really came out of his shell. That was the best part of the whole day.
Nice stuff!
The F1 season is exciting again.
Me too. On the other hand Kimi likes fast sports cars on road as well. He drives usually modded cars like CLK-DTM with special tweaks, M5, Gallardo...or a Enzo.
