If anyone know a place in houston that can repair or replace a windshield ...??let me know on a 997 turbo

 

Had a 5" inch crack in my windshield last week, I just went to my dealer and had them do it. Hopefully you have full-glass otherwise buying a new windshield is gonna cost a bit.

 

I am sorry about that. I had a film (Proline) put on my car right off the truck to protect my windshield. You might consider it for the next one.

 

My Turbo is chip free --so far . A few of my previous Porsches have had them and in some cases i simply learned to live with it (kinda like a road scar) . When I replaced the windshield the car usually smelled like glue for a long enough time that unless the chip really was a bothersome issue --I say bypass it .

Dealership will replace it --insurance pays the full thing.
