I do this all the time. I tend to find myself running errands for people as an excuse for a quick drive around the block!! I love my 997TT. It is the best car I have owned hands down!

I am guilty of driving nowhere all the time, Sundays and Saturday @ 6am are the best! I also like to drive 60 miles to get gas, the gas at the Shell station close to my house is just not good enough..

There have been plenty of restless nights when all I could think about was that lonely driver's seat all by itself in the garage. We don't have too many twisting roads in South Florida, so I usually stick to the highways (mainly the 836, 826, I-27 and I-95). Every "destination-nowhere" cruise always leads me to the tunnel under New River in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. It's not very long, but there's nothing like screaming through an enclosed, downhill road with the engine charging towards the redline. It's like heaven on earth. If anyone else in Miami / Ft. Lauderdale wants to put some nomad miles on their car, let me know. I'm always down to rally!

Going nowhere is great because you know you are going to have a great parking spot when you stop - your own garage!

Wouldn't go out for less than a 30 min spin though as otherwise the engine doesn't warm up enough and shortens its life span.
