Received my RS171s from vividracing.com, toyed around with the idea of painting them, but after opening up the boxes I decided I couldn't wait and got them mounted on Thursday. Friday was my first track date with them at Shenandoah.

I definitely felt the weight difference when I was mounting/unmounting the RS171s vs the stock rims. I also like that the car now has a real sporty look especially with the PSS drop, not the GT cruiser it was before.

Wish I had some better pictures, but I spent most of the day having too much fun at the track to really get anything decent.

 

This looks beautiful !!!! I would not change a thing (except those amber side markers ).

 

oh man those look great! with the PSS10's it sits nicely. did you get the GMG sway bars and Agency Power sway links installed?

 

I think thats the order that there was some confusion on shipping, so I think it should be arriving early this week. My next track day is the 18th/19th so I have some time to get them installed.

 

Those are some nice wheel, never thought it will look so nice on the TT. what are those, 20's?

 

Any solution for the side markers?

 

man those are nice, so much better than p40s imo.

 

19"s, they remind me of my favorite rims of all time, BBS CH, but unfortunately there's no 997TT fitment for those.

But no complaints

 

Clear markers --on every car color except Nordic Gold , Dealership ought to have them and I have never paid for them because I request them on my car before I drive off on day one. It gives a clean line --especially on awhite or silver car as the amber throws a contrast .

I have never seen a photo of a European Porsche with the amber markers . I think only this region has them (North America ) ,

those are perfect. you see a lot of white on black these days. i like the the white on silver look
