Car arriving tomorrow
Car arriving tomorrow
Dealer Called and told me my car would arrive tomorrow... he claims they need for days for transport between shipping docks and dealership and also for prepping the Car.... Will post pictures in a few days... It's a guard red 997TT Cabrio... Black interior with red stitching.... Can't wait
Placed the order in March... so it hasn't been too long wait... but it seems like forever.... dension ipod and BT units as well as smart TOP units are on order already and should be arriving within a week... Fabspeed performance package is sitting in garage waiting....
not likely to sleep much the upcoming few days, but my RS4 is up to about 550 horsepower and drives like a dream.... so it will help make the time pass by quicker

Congrats! Drive it fun, drive it safe. My Meteor TT Coupe hit's the Houston docks on 17 July. Hope to have it a few days later. I can sympathize with the pain of waiting. Since when did they change to 48 hour days!??

If you know your ship name (ask dealer) and google it - you may come across a few sites that track your ship providing its in the coast vercinity. I found this useful when my dealer said it would take 10 days from baltimore - when in actually fact I knew the ship was docked and in reality only took 2 days to get to the dealership.
Your right though - that really sucks.

Almost here - congratulations - I remember the wait, it was so hard, the days took forever to pass. I went and greeted mine when the truck arrived and a friend took a video on YouTube (I think it was titled Greta's turbo arrival).
I took it home with no detail and had a private detailer do over 17 hours of prep and detail on mine, then had the Ventureshield immediately installed before I drove it. Delayed my driving it a few days, but perfect virgin paint underneath! I also had a windshield film called Proline applied so my original windshield will be maintained.
Enjoy your new car - I just got done with my break in period and now with the "happy button" the fun is really beginning!
