Nissan has really maximized with technology, gearing, and tuning as to what the limits are to a production/ heavy gt coupe can do on tracks for sure! On the street, different story...I feel that Nissan and all the magazines have given the GTR guys a bit of a false sense of "real world" and I want to see how many Nissan dealerships are flooded with "My car is not running right?" situations after a few months of the cars hitting the streets and running Z06's and modded Turbos.

I really applaud Nissan/GTR and like it alot...with that said its simply a low to mid 120mph car in the qtr. mile. Good but in todays high performance world...just not enough.

 

I posted the wrong time based on wikipedia's original entry...last time I trust wiki...

But unlike most, I don't care if it outpaced the turbo or the Z06...it's a 2009 vehicle...it's got 4 years on the Z06, and 2 years on the 911...it SHOULD be faster after all that R&D....otherwise it would be a complete and total embarassment to Nissan.
