GTR killed by......
Whatevers kid. You still haven't come out with what you drive. C'mon kiddy let's hear it. Stop day dreaming and go back to your studies.
when you wanna be respectful and talk to me as an fellow auto enthusiast, then we can go from there... otherwise keep your insults to yourself, because what you are doing now is nothing more than bringing down your own class.
It is really not all that surprising to me? It all boils down to power to weight and a good driver in a Z06 will own it. I think the advantage you get in the GTR is with all its technology it is much easier for an average driver to drive fast than most of the other marques especially average Joes in high HP 2 wheel drive 6 speeds like the Z06 or Viper or even the GT2. You will probably see some of the GTR's winning a lot of these matches because of all wheel drive and automatic that the other cars I listed don't have.

for those of you think that im a fanboy of GTR, you are wrong. my next purchase is an E92 m3. the only reason im defending the GTR so much is because some of you bashed GTR based on your bruised ego. im just an auto enthusiast without bias, i like all performance cars, never once i've bashed on any porsche or any other car that i can recall.

Due to funding and the high prices of the 997 GT3, I think i'm ordering a GT-R this week or maybe buying a M3 with DCT. Haven't 100% decided but I really wanted to check out the GT-R and compare it with my old X50 Turbo.
Driving one for some time is the only way for me to decide if the GT-R is a better sports car than my old Porsche.

I was out at Pocono Raceway this past weekend for a couple of track days, and Thursday night I saw a GTR parked at a bar. It had California plates so I assume it was a test car or a magazine car.
I cant say that Im particularly fond of the look of the car. Its definitely monstrous. I was also able to fit my entire fist into each of its four exhaust pipes, which is pretty much how the rest of it is styled. Unfortunately since it wasnt there to run on the track I can't comment on its performance, though I would have loved to see it in action.

What a perfect description.
Not necessarily true. I believe "The Stig" on Top Gear ain't too shabby and he turned a lap time almost 3 seconds faster in the GTR (as posted several times in this thread). The car defies the laws physics for sure.
That's my entire point. You are not an enthusiast. You are just a fanboy who grew up playing Gran Tourismo. You have never even driven this car and you act like you know everything about it. That's what gets me. Again, let us know when your GTR comes in.
again you don't listen. you said that im not an enthusiast, prove it. just because i defend the GTR that makes me an fanboy?
go look through my past posts if i ever put down a porsche or if i mentioned about getting a GTR. and who is us? don't try to sound like you got the entire 6speed backing you up on this one. again trying to put me down to make yourself a man is really pathetic.

I realize after reading your previous posts that arguing with you is an abosulte waste of my time. However, I did find something very interesting and very IRONIC. Latez....
