Help with new exhaust and CEL

John, please don't take anything I say the wrong way. I don't know anything about you or your company. I am only speaking from experience.
That statment you made above is false. It takes a very special catalyst to keep the light off in the '08's. I just checked out the pictures on your website and you are not using them. They are very distinct in shape.
We are using that cat in our mufflers and do not have problems. I will even go so far as to tell you who makes it. The company is called HJS. It is the only cat on the market that will work. They are wildly expensive with another price increase due shortly.
If you start using them, my gut is telling me that your $2395 exhaust will no longer be $2395. Trust me...

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate your input. That is pretty much what I learned today in speaking with another person in the industry. We are going to explore combining the proper cat with our current mufflers, as we have developed a very good sounding system that customers like and just need to get the CEL under control at this point...

ERskatedoc....you may need to switch to something else, not sure an easy fix is possible. I know that the O2 sensor extensions that worked in 996tt's won't on a 997tt...

Mike (ERSKATEDOC) has stated he loves the Speedtech exhaust sound and performance and is going to wait for us to swap him out with an upgraded cat version as soon as it is ready. No bung extensions...we will have a cat that works and most likely a two piece system that can be used as a full muffled system or with optional straight pipes. In the meantime, we have decided to put the 997TT exhaust sales on hold until we have the CEL issue corrected. Once we iron it out, we will make the approprite announcement and begin taking orders again for the new, improved system. It's unfortunate our existing CAT's do not work well on the 997TT, but the R&D on these cars in a great learning experience and a lot of fun...stay tuned.

Your problems are behind you now GeeBee. Now, that is service, very few vendors would do that I assure you. I think they even replaced one guys(emg55?) cats who didn't even buy the system from them, he got it 2nd hand, who else would do that. I think Jeremy plays a key role in their customer relations.

The 08 have very low margins I was told....
