Fab Speed Question

I had a thought, scary I know. I am going to put the Fab Speed tips on but the heat as with any type of chrome piece will get some blue tint almost immediately. SO, I was thinking is there a way or is it out there already, to put ceramic inserts in the tip just like the ceramic around the body of the TT where the tips extend out. (I was told that was to keep the rear bumper area from melting.)OPINIONS,..

Not sure, but I think those inserts are high temp resistant plastic.

Tips

I put the chrome FabSpeed tips on my 08 997tt and have had no problems with the heat.

They blue a bit, but use some 3M Marine polish and they will look like new. Might want to consider their powder coated tips.
