Tiptronic TCU ....

Anyone know where this can be done or who can do this modification ???

We need to remove torgue limiters r load limit from the box....

too late for that lol , rus i think the mercedes ones are almost identical you may wanna look there as to what they did, cuase those things have no porblem puting down massive power.

I believe that I have the same trans in my 05 E55 as your tip Russ...I am curious on this as well.

I just installed a steering wheel by FVD with paddle shifters as I have the tip trans. I'll would like to hear your feed back on tiptronic control unit upgrade.

Thanks for all advises guys...

I know about Mecedes TCU...Kleemann and Renntech have them...will check on that and see if we can use it one our Tip...we need simular prograsm but for Porsche Tiptrnic and might need to re-infoce the box...wait till it fails...although I think if its from 600 bi-turbo then it should last long cause I hevent heard any trans issues with TCU done on 600/65 cars....


Will check with FVD as well...

what does the flash from FVD do for the tip control unit? does it shifter faster.. harder?

I'd like to know as well. If it was that easy you think Porsche would have done it when they built the car.

Not sure but they definately have diff torgues converters...

this was one of the reasons made me sell the tip and get a 6speed i did allot of researchs on this i believe FVD does it and 9ff upgrades the tip gears i dont remember details sorry but check with 9ff ...
