I am sure your warranty will cover any problem - why don't you call your dealer? Sounds like it should be checked out.

So you are saying there's no pressure on the clutch pedal? Take a look...

I had a similiar problem. It ended up being a broken seal on the clutch fluid resevoir. It's covered under warranty.

I am curious about the problem let us know if you take it to the dealer. Warranty should cover it.

Resurrecting an old thread.... This same thing happened to me with my new Cayman S while on the A-8 Autobahn headed to Munich, only 92 km (58 miles) after picking my car up from the Porsche factory.

There was a bad batch of slave cylinders. I know that this affected about 1,200 987s, and Porsche implemented a service campaign (W-802) to replace all of the slaves from the bad lot. I hadn't realized that this affected other models too.

The good news, if this happens to you, is that it's an easy fix and the car will be good as new.
