911 Carrera S Repair in NYC
I have a 2007 C2S and have damage to the rear bumper and right tail light assembly. All of the lights work but the glass has broken in a small section.
Any recommendations on where to get it repaired? I live in Manhattan but I don't want to go to Manhattan Motor Cars - I get the feeling that I might end up paying a lot more than necessary.
Also, any recommendations on where to go to get the following?
Protective cover for the front of the car, iPod connectivity, Bluetooth?

Probably would get more responses in the 997 forum.
For iPod and Bluetooth, get a Dension unit. Do a search...it's very popular, and fairly easy to install if you are mechanically inclined.

Call Detailing Dynamics in Long Island. They are a sponsor here. I think they can handle all this for you. When I was there, there was a 430 with slight damage and they were taking care of it. They also do clear bras and electronics.

I'm in Northern NJ, at least 35 min's from Manhattan, I recommend Paterak Brothers in Chatham, NJ or DJ's in Morristown, NJ. They're both recommended by NNJPCA and are excellent at their craft.
I've also seen (not experienced) Detailing Dynamics in Mineola, and their shop is impressive. VERY impressive roster of clientel too.

C&D Auto Body
Listen, I strongly recommend C&D Auto Body in South Hackensack, NJ. He is off the Lodi exit on 46. excellent quality, his work is good enough to be a factory authorized repair facility for BMW North America. i have had a couple projects done there, including work on my modified '99 C2 and the owner Matt is a good acquaintance of mine. Give him a call if you haven't found anyone yet. (973) 779-0497

I will strongly second this! I've had work done by Matt on several of my cars. He's a perfectionist and a really nice guy too. Even though I'm in CT now I would still take my TT to Matt if I had an issue.
