One of the things that always amazes me is how people will throw parts at a car then dyno and have no base for anything. Dynos should be used to test before and after and measure the delta. Additionally the biggest issue I see is that people do not know how to properly dyno a 997TT. Do you know what gear to run it in, do you know how many maps there are before the car will stop switching timing maps, is the bumper on? If it is then I will tell you right now you are heat soaking a very sensitive car. Are you blowing directly into the intakes? All which are trick answers. You can't expect to get a good result if you are not familiar with the dynamics of these

Same can be said for any 997 platform car.

+1 Dyno # should be used to measure HP gain. You should always get a BASE dyno run. After the mods you will have to go back to the same dyno shop with similar weather condition to do your run. Dyno in two different shops, will show different numbers even if they are using the same exact Dyno. You also can't do a base run in 50 degree weather and come back in 100 degree for your next run.

Check for boost leaks. I was down about 100hp before a large intercooler core leak was discovered on mine.

From my experience, if your hearing a sucking sound that wasn't there before you likely have a leak. Soon after that fix and re-dyno I noticed a sucking sound coming back. A split hose was the next discovery. Nevertheless, you may have a leak that you can't hear. Right now I have a poorly fitting hose that was almost off the intercooler. I didn't notice it until the car was raised up for suspension mods.

I doubt one of your intercooler cores are leaking but you may have leaks at the hose fittings, etc..

My guys used pressure and smoke to diagnose my situation.
