Turbo S vs 997TT?

I am thinking of trading my Turbo S cab for a 2008 997TT. My car feels very strong with the FVD tuning but cab is not for me.

What turbos come with the 997TT? Will it be faster than my car from 60-130? Look like tuning is almost double price for the 997TT.

Another thing I am not 100% happy with is how delicate the interior is on my car, are the new interiors holding up better? Seat backs and center consoles especially.

Do the 08's have XM radio?

Thanks

well i have a friend that owns a 996TT with ecu tune exhaust and other bolts on...

my 997TT we tried some races, and he cant keep up with my car...

since you turbo S is exactly the same car, same turbos(just more BOOST) i think you will be happy with the 997TT....

and if you have A TTS cab changing to a coupe, no doubt it will be way faster.

I think you will be very happy with the 997. To me it is a totally different car then the 996. Please post some pics. I think white is one of the best colors for the 997TT.

Please report the difference to us. For what it is worth, the turbo S came with larger turbos and intercoolers than the standard turbos.

A flashed turbo S may be faster than a standard 997tt. More knowledgable folks please chime in.

I just got home from the dealer. The new car is faster in 1st and 2nd but I think the old car was faster in 3rd and 4th. I have not gotten into the other gears yet.

The new car has much nicer steering feel. It also turns in quicker.

I didnt like how the clutch engaged in my old car. Unfourtunatly Ithink this car is worse. They both a very numb.

More to come after some more seat time.
