997TT chasing 997GT2 - track video
I was chasing my buddy in his 997Gt2 today at TWS. Great conditions, and lots of fun!

we actually held back a little bit from usual. Our other buddy totalled his mint 996Gt3 the day before and we were all still bumming
bbywu the suspension is fine for my level of driving (I am not anywhere near the performance envelope of the car), and it does well enough with the power. I think the stock TT has more than enough power for most any track in the US, and 700 hp is pretty ludicrous. I am actually becoming lazier as a driver - need to get back to my 944 turbo track car to work on the skills!

Nice vid, looks like fun. I was supposed to go to the glen today, but 'the usual' intervened, did you capture Doug's car in any vids? That gt2 is very fast and well balanced.
What happened to the 3?

Doug was right behind us. The Gt2 is very, very fast. I can catch it without too much problem on the straights but thru the corners it is like a gazelle. Doesn't help that the Gt2 driver is half insane and without fear.
The 3 lost it on (probably) overheated tires entering the long straight of the speedway. You can clearly see the skidmarks. The shock is that the driver is an excellent and smooth driver, and the car was dialed in 100%. Could have been any one of us that took that same hit.
Just got back from the Glen last night....rained Saturday, beautiful Sunday. Sounds like we would have passed eachother on route 17!
