The car is lowered. You can contact Matt at GMP Performance for all the specs on the car. It's a beauty!

Okay is the love fest over? I have to say something for HRE.
AMT has a history as stated by Forgedwheeler, who btw admits to work for them (that's great).
What were they before if not AMT? To most of us this comes at us as a new name. If not AMT, what was it called before?

I have dealt with HRE since 1996 and never an issue.
Someone I know ran a Toyota Supra (>1000 rwhp) with HRE C series wheels in the Texas Mile last month. Running a record 241 mph on those $h!tty HRE wheels. Wow go figure?

AMT you absolutely stand behind the weight of your wheels, to the ounce?

This is all very interesting but I know where I stand.

Cheers
Ranger

Ok Ranger, thanks for the post. Love fest? You must have this confused with another thread. However, your questions do give us the opportunity to reiterate what we have said continuously:

1. We at AMT have only the highest respect for HRE and its products. Your facetious remarks to the contrary are really inappropriate. Personally, I used to work for HRE and have only the highest respect for their products, vision and philosophy. Please read my many posts to this effect.

2. AMT has been a PRIVATE LABEL forged wheel manufacturer since 1997. We build tens of thousands of forged monoblock wheels every year, more than any other US aftermarket manufacturer.

3. We build wheels that pass the toughest standards on earth. Our customers include Chrysler(Viper), Roush, Brabus, Gemballa, Kahn, Overfinch, and G-Power, among dozens of the worlds top tuners.
Our technology is also approved and certified by the US military and the aerospace industry. Government suppliers are our largest customers.

4. This is the first time that AMT has sold a wheel under its own brand. We respectfully ask that you give us the opportunity to show you our engineering prowess. We sincerely respect your loyalty to others.

5. We stand behind our wheels (and their weight) 100%. Our wheels carry a lifetime structural warranty and one year Road Hazard warranty, unmatched in the industry.

6. Not a single AMT wheel has ever failed in service nor has their ever been a recall of an AMT product.

I hope that I answered your questions.

Great thread and great looking wheels.

I wish some of the newer wheel companies would provide the really technical specs on their wheels (eg. Iforged, 360, Voss-something, etc).

I have another question:

Have those wheels been actually tested at high speeds close to 200 MPH on any car ???

When I go I to those speeds here I want to be 100% sure that my wheels will hold that abuse !!!

No track test data is available. The AMT engineering team has rated the wheels for maximum sustained speeds in excess of 200 MPH at 100% maximum vehicle load rating.
The internal engineering protocols used were identical to those used for the OE Dodge Viper program and the Corvette Z06 forged wheel program for Chevrolet.
