Guys I need you help, thinking of buying this 997 TT at Dallas

Anyone from Dallas here, could help ME out and go and look at that car, may when it will go for Porsche inspections at Porsche dealer or however is more convinient for you...

Basically check inside and outside of the car for any damages and test drive the car and see how it runs...

If you have more time, may go to Porsche dealer when they inspect the car and see what they say...most important chack for overrevs...and if all service bullitens where done...

Ecarlink always has great cars. RUF Auto Centre is very close to them and they could probably do an inspection for you. Just call Hans and I'm sure he could figure something out.

If you want to be safe have the seller take the car to the local Porsche dealer and pay the dealer to do a pre purchase inspection. Deal with the dealer ship directly and get the report directly. It may cost a couple hundred bucks but it will be money well spent and probably much more comprehensive than a board member kicking the tires. Ask the dealer for a service history on the car as well. You can also take the VIN to your local dealer and ask them if they can check the service records. Most Porsche service departments will help you out.


If the seller does not want to cooperate with the request they you don't want that car, it's that simple.

Ive looked at their cars before too. I have to say they do have very nice cars there. Also as stated above, have them take the car to RUF. Hans is a good guy.

That car looks nice. I have seen it on autotrader. What a remarkable price they have it listed for and it has CF interior and Fabspeed cold air intake!

Hey there, I currently reside in Plano (Dallas) but am in Austin for college...I'm heading back home for the thanksgiving weekend. Would you still like me to check it out sometime? I've been to ecarlink's dealer before, looking particularly for an M5 but we didn't go through with the purchase for other reasons, but they have a great selection and their cars seem to be in good working condition!

What a stand up guy...some people see then car know dealer and didnt wnt to help ME out !!! and Carlos went to RUF for ME to spoked about inpsection personally with Hans, then to dealer to see a car and now is going to speak to Porsche to check on service history as well...

I have no words...Carlos...if it wasnt you I wouldnt buy this car for sure...I really apriciate your help...thanks a lot my friend...and take care !!!
